Coach 7 supports many common video formats and containers: mov, mp4, m4v, 3gp, 3g2, avi, wmv, asf, mpg, mpeg and m1v. In some cases videos cannot be imported, for example if they have been recorded with a smartphone. Please use a video conversion tool such as Any Video Converter to convert your video to a format suitable for Coach. You can find a short guide to perform the conversion here.

Note: During the installation of Any Video Converter it is possible that some (unwanted) toolbars or other programs are also installed. These installations are optional and can be prevented by selecting “Customize Install” during installation and deselecting these additional programs.

Any camera that records video at 15 frames per second (fps) or more should suffice. Almost all digital photo camera’s, video camera’s, (built-in) webcams, high-speed camera’s and most smartphones with video functionality will work. CMA specifically offers a webcam with tripod and built-in lighting for this purpose. The webcam records video at 30 frames per second and works without the installation of any drivers under Windows 7 or newer.

The problem is likely due to the type of video that is being imported. Please use a video conversion tool such as Any Video Converter to convert your video to a format suitable for Coach (e.g. from mp4 to avi). You can find a short guide to perform the conversion here.
