Mounting Vincilab is possible with the helper application: Mount Vincilab. VinciLab is added as a drive in Windows which lets you exchange files easily.
Windows 10
Mounting VinciLab sometimes doesn’t work (Coach Version <7.7). The following solution .
It is possible that “insecure” network login is forbidden on your system, preventing Vincilab from mounting.
You can change that setting in Windows 10 Pro, the option to change does not appear in Windows Home. (update to Coach 7.7 or higher)
Look for insecure guest logon in Group Policies :
In the system search window: type in cmd,
Click right on Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator
Run “gpedit.msc“.
In the Local Group Policy Editor window follow the path:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > Lanman Workstation
Right click “Enable insecure guest logon” Select Edit. Select Ok.
Try to mount Vincilab again. (Restarting the PC may help.)
On Mac.
Connect the Vincilab with a USB cable.
Open a finder menu. Use cmd+K
Copy the following command into the search box:
smb://169.254.200.1/My Files
An explorer window should now open.
